  1. Contact the person in charge of the graduate admissions applications. Sometimes its a faculty member, sometimes an admin.
  2. The application deadline has passed, but most schools (UNLV included) you can set up a late application submission. Edit: Which basically puts you on the waiting list, if you pass the cuts.
  3. Just waiting for April 15th...maybe I'll hear better news then. In the meantime, I'm thinking about putting in a late application to UNLV.
  4. I have yet to receive an official acceptance, rejection, or wait list notice as well.
  5. Yeah, its a bummer. I'm hoping for some good news from ASU and BSU soon.
  6. An update on my applications: I have yet to hear any official news from any of the schools I applied to. Unofficially, I have heard from a few POIs and graduate admissions admins. UC Davis- I didn't receive a first round offer and POI doesn't think any of their candidates will be chosen for admission, low funding. UCSB- POI's grant was not funded, cannot take a student unless they are self-funded. Oregon State- Did not receive a first round offer, on the waiting list. Arizona State- have not received an offer, website still says "in review", POI says they will notify my when they know something. Boise State- applications were supposed to be reviewed by the end of February according to admissions admin, radio silence since then. Back to playing the waiting game...
  7. What if your interests change? Accept the PhD, IMO. I'm pretty sure (have seen it before but not specifically at your school) that you can choose to just get a M.S. after a year or so if that what you prefer. You may find that you really enjoy it and having that guaranteed funding for additional years will be a nice peace of mind.
  8. How did you find out about OSU? I have yet to hear back from them.
  9. All departments I applied to are still maintaining radio silence. Based on some email responses from POIs, I only still have a chance at 3/5 schools.
  10. I had to edit above a couple times for the image to come through. But seriously, Congrats! :-)
  11. This is what your post made me think.... I'm sorry I couldn't help myself...
  12. Received emails from some of my POIs: UCSB POI doesn't have funding for a student this season UC Davis POI could not get any of their applicants through on first round offers, and likely will not be able to admit any students Arizona State has reviewed applications but decisions are still being made. Still hopeful to maybe hear back from somewhere else today though!
  13. I'm sorry to hear that! At least you are getting some feedback from your applications, though maybe not the feedback you would hope for. I still have not heard one peep from any of the five schools I applied to! Still hoping no news is good news.
  14. I thought this week would surely be the week I hear something back...no dice yet
  15. prob 8-9 credit hours a semester (~3 courses a semester or 1-2 courses and research hours). Definitely not 8 courses a semester.
  16. I am way more antsy this week than I was before. It's going to be a loooooooong week!
  17. Congrats man! I'm hoping this week is my week too!
  18. Thanks! Good to hear offers haven't gone out yet. Seems like all the schools I applied to are taking their time. No news is good news I suppose!
  19. geoDUDE, whats the insider info on UC Davis applications? :-) Congrats to everyone who has been accepted!
  20. Of the five schools I applied to, I have only seen one result from one, Arizona State. I'm unsure if that admission result was a special case, if ASU all first offers were sent out yesterday, or if it depends on specialty/POI. Staying optimistic, hopeful and anxious (but seriously freaking out)!
  21. Yup. Haven't heard anything yet. Still "in review" for application status.
