Yeah it was for painting. I called again to see if they would tell me where I would be on the waitlist and the woman said they don't have a numbered waitlist. She said they probably won't know if I get accepted until April 20.

I got an email, but I messaged the dept. head a day before to see where I stood. I interviewed on the 3rd.

Just found out I'm on RISD's waitlist. Don't know what number yet. Anyone else here back?

Does anyone know if RISD's painting program is doing early acceptances like RISD sculpture is?

For those of you who had an interview with RISD on the 25th how did it go?

Just got my official rejection from UC Berkeley. Ohhhhh well.....

I thought it was strange too. Maybe, I tipped the scales and annoyed them, causing a chain reaction for them to the tell the professors to make their decisions already, and them eventually sending out the interview emails? Idk... Maybe it was a coincidence? I assume they sent them out in batches that are medium specific. I know some people had said they had interview for RISD sculpture before the interviews for painting came out. Maybe there's still hope?

OMG!!!! I just got my interview email from RISD!!! :")

yup weeks... the person I talked to didn't sound too thrilled either.

Just called RISD to get info regarding the status of my application. I was told that they are still being processed and will be out in the next couple of weeks...
