Has anyone heard back from York regarding Waitlist?

Got rejected at Windsor. I'm not upset since I wasn't planning on going anyway. but can't keep going "Alas such is life" LOL

for york applicanuts, I got an email saying that I was waitlisted. sending positive vibes your way!

Anyone else here considering attending the advance placement prog at Windsor? I know a couple of you were accepTed.

I was placed on waitlist for York as well. Bah! LOL! So, who wants to reject York for me?

It seems as if there are a lot of us placed on the wait list. Almost makes me think that we may have gotten in had we chosen other streams. Im curious to know how many of you are considering staying on the waitlist as opposed to accepting other offers: Also, anyone rejecting the offer from UofT (haha totally hoping some of you does :$)

Omg I heard back from UofT and I'm wait listed too! & I'm in mental health and health as well. not sure when letter was dated cause my parents just called me and I haven't seen it. Oh wells!

Anyone else getting depressed by how little job opportunities there are with a BSW?

I want to thank you for this post. Because, after reading this, I did exactly that. I feel so MUCH better. Life does not end with a rejection from masters (ah heart breaks as I say that!). The anxiety had made me into this awful, sad, anxiety ridden person. Infact, the past few days I have been waking up in the middle of the night panicking! So, really, honestly, thank you!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Did you check your ROSI to see if that changed. I believe that your app status does not change until much later on. To ADVANCE STANDING APPLICANTS FOR WINDSOR U I talked to them today. They sent out the first batch of acceptances a few weeks ago. Will send out second batch in a couple of weeks. After second batch, they will send out rejections and wait lists. If you have been accepted you will get a letter mail. For rejection you will get an email. From the way she spoke, it sounded like checking the status online might not be very reliable.

AH! So did I! I even thought/still thinks I should hear back from them! I hope we hear something back! Noone else in my school has gotten accepted yet (as far as I know) (Im at Ryerson). GAH! Each day passing day in March, my hope dwindles. I also havent heard back from Windsor or York. This whole thing is shaking my confidence!

Sorry to be annoying: But would all of you got into UofT be willing to share what letter their last name begins with? (Hanging onto thread of hope!)

So, after reading some of the acceptances yesterday, I had a little breakdown and cry (funny because I thought I was okay and was having a cheerful conversation and randomly started crying to a shocked partner). Thanks @ impatientlywaiting for really calming me down! BUT I am SO SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY for all of you who are getting accepted!!!! <3 A few questions: 1) For all of you who got into UofT, are you still finishing BSW or are you done? 2) Does anyone know when York sends out acceptance for 1st year? i haven't heard back from them either. Your post is making me depressed! I haven't heard back from Windsor either. I guess if I dont get in, atleast I can save some money for next year!

Aw! No. I wish. Nothing in the mailbox except a letter from OSAP! BAH :'( But I would rather wait and get an acceptance than get a rejection now...so there is that! I appreciate all the well wishes though! Really <3

Okay checked ROSI. Nothing. Making my mom drive me to the mailbox (which is a 3 minute walk but its too cold)! IM GOING TO THROW UP YOU GUYS!
