Nice! I'm still crossing my fingers on the waitlist. I think when schools send out interviews they don't send them all at once. At least on the results page I've seen them spread out over a course of a few days, most likely because they have to schedule a time to interview the student.
Thanks for your support. Because probably not every accepted student will attend Indiana, I'm sure they will reconsider your application. Mucha suerte con los otros programas. Te deseo lo mejor.

I think some people in this thread are applying there so maybe they know something. Did you hear from Indiana?
Hey. Yes, I got accepted.

Does anyone know if Columbia started doing intereviews yet? The results page indicates that someone got an interview last week. I don't know if it's spam or not.

ND. Yo estudié mi MA en español ahí. I'm just asking because of your interest in literatura caribeña. I pressume you will want to work with Tom A.?
Yes!! I'm glad that I could find an alumni from there.

Fernando, are you going for the PhD in Lit in ND or the MA in Spanish?
Joan, I'm applying to the MA program in Spanish at ND. What school is your alma mater? Just curious.

Hello everyone:
I'm applying for Spanish PhD programs as well. I'm currently applying to Columbia, Michigan, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Indiana, and Florida State University. My area of concentration is Spanish Caribbean Literature with an emphasis on gender and sexualities studies. I'm glad that I found this website.

I have still not received an answer from some of the places that I applied, so my top choice is not set in stone yet. What is your top choice?
