Just curious has anyone heard back from TC regarding the Zankel Fellowship? I applied and for some reason I thought they said decisions would be out by April 15th, but I haven't heard back yet. I was just wondering if anyone has (positive or negative). Thanks for your help.

Weird, mine didn't work in Firefox, and it was in .pdf format...guess we'll see what happens.

Same problem here, and I also emailed them. Which means they probably have MANY emails headed their way. Hopefully it won't be a problem.

I also received the email about the Zankel Fellowship. It was driving me crazy so I decided just to call and ask the Financial Aid office whether or not this meant anything. They told me it is a mass e-mail Let's hope that they are lying in a good way (wishful thinking). I was hoping it meant that I was accepted, I mean why else would they ask me to apply if I'm not even accepted into the school yet? Oh well.

90sNickelodeon, You have already posted similar stats online (like your GRE scores and that you currently work at a university) so I'm not sure why you won't help someone out, especially when this is anonymous. And was this specifically for the MA in Higher and Postsecondary Education/Student Personnel Administration? Or for another program? Also as a follow up, when are you going to go and interview for an internship? We are just looking for some information so that we know where we stack up in this process and when (if at all) we can expect to hear back. The admissions counselor I spoke with said decisions weren't out yet, so I'm surprised to hear differently (of course they could just be saying that to get me to shut up....).

Would you mind giving your stats and some of your story or a brief overview of your statement of purpose? I'm just concerned that I haven't heard back yet and I thought I put together a great application.

I'm also still waiting to hear, but also holding out hope. I called admissions and they said decisions should be out next week. Hopefully they were being honest with me, but if they were then I guess we still have a chance.

I am trying to figure out how early I can expect to hear from NYU for the MA in Higher Education (if the news is good...). The website says that in "mid February" top candidates will receive a letter about interviewing for internships. I searched the results and can't find any past data, anyone know when in mid-February people usually hear back? Oh, and is it a letter or an e-mail. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the information. I'll try to email admissions and see if they can give me some numbers on the assistantship. I applied to UPenn, Harvard, Teachers College and NYU (all either MA or EdM degrees). I haven't heard back from any, but if I read the website correctly NYU should send out acceptances/rejections out mid to late February (well at least to interview for the internship positions). Hopefully all goes well. Good luck with your applications.

I know that NYU has a required internship that provides "stipend and tuition support". Does anyone know how much this tuition support or stipend is? Does it depend on what internship you are accepted to? Thanks for the help.
