I've (very stupidly) managed to misspell the name of a writer in some of the SOPs I've submitted. Mailing the schools and asking them to consider accepting a fresh SOP from me is out of the question as the deadlines are long gone. Also, the writer in question isn't...ummm...very well known. So, I'm (really) hoping those reading my SOP will not notice. How much of a difference do you guys think it's going to make to my application?
