Has anyone experienced transitioning from a semester system to a quarterly one? Was it easy to get used to or did you just not like it?

Does anyone know what the stipend for living expenses at UC Davis is? I understand tuition is automatically paid in full and there are a bunch of scholarships that I could apply to, but is there a yearly stipend for RA and TA positions similar to other universities? I got accepted to UC Davis Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology Program but because I am unable to find this information in their website, I am a bit hesitant about accepting their offer.
