Not sure why such a substantial proportion of my schools have given decisions to other applicants and no news for me (Duke, NYU, Notre Dame, UCLA). Kind of odd.

Yes, my app status says "You have been Provisionally Admitted. As a Provisional Admit you are an officially admitted student and may register for classes in the quarter to which you were admitted..."

Yup, that was me. Got the email at around 3am from the Grad School, seemed formulaic.

So, if we haven't heard anything one way or another from UW-Madison today does that definitely mean rejection/wait list? My status on their website still says pending...
