Thanks. As soon as I get a decision from NYU, I should be able to make a final decision on graduate school. It is really odd that NYU has the earliest application deadline among all schools I applied to (Dec 12), but is still unable to send me a decision email.
BTW, may I ask when their visitation weekends are?
There was already one visit weekend on February 13th for early acceptances, the next one is March 5th-6th, but I will only be attending on the afternoon of the 6th.

Thanks. Did the email come from GSAS? Did the page on SMTS change? I am still waiting to hear from NYU to make my final decision so I am feeling a little anxiety.
Hi, sorry for the late reply I've been on vacation. I received my official letter from NYU about 2 weeks ago via e-mail from GSAS.

Does anyone know if NYU has sent out bulk offers yet?
I just received my official letter from NYU. Whereas my previous notification of acceptance came from a POI ( I think it was like an early admission).
So I assume they should be sending out all offers now-ish.

May I ask were you accepted into a particular research group or was it a generic email? Thanks!
Hey there, I received an e-mail from a POI that I listed in my application but it was still fairly general. A congratulations, short blurb about visitation weekends, etc.

Just got an email from NYU saying I was accepted!

I submitted mine on the deadline (21st) so maybe they are still going through applications and have been doing rolling admissions..That may be a bit naive and idealistic, but there could be some truth to it.
Did anyone apply near or on the deadline and already get accepted??
You got into Yale though! That is fun and rolls off the tongue pretty well. I am wishing I applied to a few more schools out of reach just to see. I didn't take the subject test so that severely limited the schools I could apply to. Wish I would have just thrown an app at MIT and Yale.
Thank you you've gotten into so many great schools too! And don't worry, I also didn't write the Chem GRE out of pure naiveté, and I wish I had applied to a few more schools in general. I also submitted most of my applications either on the deadline or a day or two before...oooops :S

Thanks for your response ChemPlasmonics!! Good luck to you. My LORs are pretty strong, hard to gauge the strength of my own SOP but overall I *~*think*~* I had a competitive application. I'm hoping that since I submitted it very close to the deadline (~mid December) I will just have a delayed response. But I'm really starting to lose hope all together, oh well!!

Soooo if I still have not heard from Berkeley, is it safe to assume they rejected me?
-
Ouch. Getting ready for that Princeton rejection
Nice to see another Canadian on this forum!!

Looks like UNC is continuing to send out notifications. Found out I was accepted this morning! I applied to the inorganic division if anyone is curious.
Edit: Less than an hour later I received also received an acceptance from Yale. Woohoo!!
Congrats!! I was accepted to Yale today as well! Guess I will be seeing you during the visit in March.

I e-mailed the coordinator last week because I may have had conflicts and I wanted to know when the decisions were going to be made, and she said the latest decisions will be made is today. And judging by previous years, they said they sent e-mails. So I'm assuming they're going to send you an e-mail later today.
However, that doesn't show on my application page... So now I'm worried. Goodbye top choice...
The day is very young, don't count your chickens before they have hatched!! I hadn't even thought to check online until today, so I suppose it was coincidence. Since I had not checked earlier, I thought I might have missed an e-mail or something. I will sleep better once I have confirmation!
Good luck.

For those who have applied to UCSF CCB, have you checked your application lately? I just noticed that it says I was selected for an interview. I chose an interview date, but there is literally no other information on the application page, or on the website about details of the interview process. I have not received any e-mails, phone calls, or anything in the mail. Any insight would be appreciated!!
Thanks

Is anyone going to the Yale visiting weekend next week?! And/or the UCSF one?
