I think you can take it that decisions are made and coming out soon. Yale does personal notifications from usually POI. Usually email. Some by phone. Best of luck see some of you soon.

POI on my Yale email indicated that she was asked to notify a few admits. The official letter came an hour or 2 later.

I don't think that there is an obligation to do this. School know that students will get multiple offers and turn some down. They are prepared with wait lists. It is probably good to turn them done as soon as you are sure though, at least for the sake of the wait-listers.

It's like they don't have anything better to do.

I got a call from Emory yesterday (Sunday) at about noon. No time is safe.

True, I might have put Political Science, but you would think at least one of them would have put government.

My applyweb checklist for Standford had a note that included "We expect to notify applicants of the committee's decision no later than early February 2015." It was elsewhere as well, but I can't find it now
