Yeah but they said on the phone that the results were supposed to come today. I am not waiting until monday, I have other stuff on hold that needs to be exectuted if this doesn't work out!
-
WHY is nothing arriving in my mailbox. It's noon in two hours. Kill me.
-
Yeah I think so too. The e-mail regarding admission should come early in the morning, and it's passed noon now, so hopefully tomorrow. Jeeez..
-
I can't deal with this wait anymore? What are the chances we will get the results today?
-
Thanks for sharing the info lorita!

Why are they not sending out the results? Shouldn't they be ready by now??
-
I hope its by monday, regarding when they sent our for last years admission it was the 15th.
-
Yeah well I hope if I get accepted I get a spot at Piciotto as well, I can't deal with the stress of finding a place to stay as well. It's good that you get your own bathroom too. It is expensive, but at the same time it is a safe investment - I have lived abroad before and jesus do people try to rip your money off you, I don't trust anyone anymore when it comes to leases and landlords.

Hey, no I am still waiting for my decision too. Do you think it will come this week JeSuis_Mascha?

Hey guys! I didn't know the Student House's name was Picciotto haha. I just looked at this link http://graduateinstitute.ch/home/admissions/application/application-for-accommodation.html At the bottom it says that newly admitted students will receive a form to apply for accommodation march 25th. So I guess the info expected before in january has been post-poned, which is good because I don't wanna go through any more processes in case my application gets rejected.

Hey guys! Where did you get info on student accommodation? I only saw one student-house, and like you said AnnaBianca, priority was given to students in regards to distance when your application was sent. What are the other options? What is Picciotto? It also says on the application page that they will be sending out info soon so you can apply for that. It's weird that you are supposed to apply for accommodation before you know whether you've been accepted or not Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us! <3 Grad888, cool about Australia! I lived in Melbourne one year myself. Great city.

Hey! I don't know what you mean with that they want homogeneous classes? From what I read they want the opposite, a diverse student-body. Thats what I wrote in my motivation letter as well, that I want to contribute to the diversity among students including: sex, race, nationality etc. For me it sounds very strange that an international school would want everyone to have the same background? I think you might have misunderstood (or maybe I have haha). They want a mix of students, that's why there is an international intake of students where they all compete against each other. Otherwise, if they wanted a homogenous class, they would only accept french and swiss students, right? That would be the ultimately homogenous class. I think they don't want the classes to look the same. I haven't applied for any other schools outside Sweden accept the Graduate institute. I was looking into the diploma academy in Vienna, but was I the only one that thought it seemed a bit out of date? The Leidl University in Holland seems nice though! Would be pretty cool to spend 2 years in Haag like in Geneva I don't know how I'm supposed to wait until mid-march....
-
Yeah I did the same for the march application round, good luck!

Hey guys! I guess you all applied for the early applications round, since some of you have already accepted your offer for the MIA program. I am still waiting for my decision to be announced. I just wondered what you think about housing in Geneva? I know that there is a student house that you will be able to apply for soon, but does anyone know any other good options? With the Swiss Franc getting more and more expensive (I'm from Sweden so our currency is not worth alot compared to the € or the CEF) it would be good to know. Take care and all the best of luck to you all.
