it's safe to say that most people start taking things a little more slowly once they hit around 60 y/o. nonetheless, it's much better to look at other indicators, such as their "Citations per year" trend on Google scholar.

I see many Professors hiring only one student per year.

if it's any consolation to those who have been rejected by Princeton, Princeton has a considerably smaller graduate enrollment than just about any other schools.

UCB has a fair amount out already. MIT has a few only. I really want to hear back from one of these two schools.

To anyone who got MIT or UC Berkeley, If you are sure of going to another school, please reject the offer asap & not hog onto it? Thanks!
