Hello all, this is my first post on gradcafe so I apologize if I tend to ramble! I recently received an invitation to interview for one of my top schools (Human Development PhD program). Soon after, I received an email from the professor I had been corresponding with, saying she would "like me to attend" her Research Apprenticeship Class while I am in town in order to give me a better idea of what to expect as a doctoral student in the aforementioned program. Of course, I have spent the last four days obsessing over that email, looking for meaning where there likely is none. So, I was wondering, does anyone think that this invitation holds any special significance? Could this mean I am closer to acceptance than I thought?
Thank you
