I got the rejection from IOE@Umich long long ago. ~~~~

Both programs are top level. I don't believe I have chance to get in:( As you said, Stern has a close connection with Courant. I would like to use optimization to solve the OM problem. Thus, I think Stern may be a better choice. (Even though CMU's ACO and OR are also quite strong). You already got CMU, hope you will get NYU:) Good luck~~~

OM in stern and tepper are both with high reputation and rankings. But for me, I would like to choose Stern, which is more quantitative. It seems stern's placement is a little bit better than tepper? what's your opinion?

I also apply the three OM programs. For CMU, i got the same email titiled as “Thank you for applying". I thought it was a rejection when I first saw it? hehe, for UCLA and Duke, no news till now.

Yes, I did the same thing. But when I login to the Prospective student Business, they ask for the "University of Michigan ID" to access. I didn't get any information about my UMich ID. Do you get it by email? Thanks

I am also applying for Ph.D. in IEOR. But I only apply for 4 programs. Others are all Operations Management in Business School. My backgrounds are: Undergraduate (Math) 3.4/4.0; Graduate (OR) 4.0/4.0. GRE:510+790+4; IBT: 105 No publications till now. The programs I apply are： IOE Umich; IESE UIUC; IE PSU; ISE UVa. Till now, no news from them. I even don;t know my materials are complete or not. Do you guys know how to check the materials status for Umich and PSU? Thanks
