can_i_drop_class

Is it okay to drop a class that you said you would take on PhD apps (in the "future coursework" sections)? The class I want to drop is a technical class (I'm applying for computer science), but is not directly related to the subfield I'm planning to study. I've been already eligible to graduate for two semesters, so I don't need the class to fulfill my degree requirements.
