Hey @handiya! I did call them on Thursday, they said they will be up with the results by 15th! Since that happens to be a Sunday, I'm guessing it is Monday!
But yeah, I would have to say they should have been a little more systematic about it.
Lets hope for the best!!!

Is there anyone who is still awaiting a reply? Not that I have any hopes anymore, but still.

Just called Goldman School: "Admission decisions would be out in the next 24 hours".
-
Someone just posted another acceptance todat from Goldman!!! I wonder why such a snail release of acceptance letters!!!
-
I think they made a mistake in the process and that is why they are releasing few decisions every day. I'm honestly a little dissapointed on Goldman. Even if we are rejects I think we deserve some level of empathy (we paid the admissions fee too)... Keeping us waiting feels a bit mean. As MJA87 said, a post on the admissions blog is not helpful when all letters have been released. At this rate, that could be on friday or next monday.
Totally true!!!

Posting again : How good this course is compared to other top schools like Wagner, Goldman for example. Does the second year DC option gives a distinct advantage? Have heard some people calling it a soft MBA ? How true is that.

I just called the Admissions Office. All communications regarding the Financial Aid will be sent on Monday.... #fingersCrossed

Starting this thread about the admits to the Carnegie Mellon 2015 admits to their Public Policy, DC track applicants. How good the course is, comparison to other schools, questions about DC apprenticeship, etc.
Current students: Please answer questions about the course.
International student, is MPP/MPA worth it?

Hey good question. I'm facing the same dilemma myself.
I talked with a few current(international students) and they have shared these very concerns.
So in my opinion, look at your options in terms of :
a) Location of the course ~ closer to DC, NYU would be good as it will help you in networking
Look at Linkedin profiles of current Alums : Where do they land up, contact them
c) Cost : Look at scholarship options.
A lot many students also take up a private sector job immediately after graduating(to fend off the loan) & then plan to come back to the public sector. I don really know how that would work but this is something I heard current students telling.
Make a good choice.
