Just got my rejection from the Stanford PhD, but it can with the caviat that I could still be considered for the MA if I want. Has anyone heard of his happening before? Do they offer this to everyone?
I wouldn't never actually leave classics. But I love Sweden. I've dug mostly at Etruscan sites, but I've studied more Greek tuff so I am probably going to try and look at interactions between the two.
I can't figure out how to do the signature thing, but I've applied to all the usual suspects: AHMA (rejected) Stanford (no word) IPCAA, Joukowsky, AAMW, Cincinnati, then Boulder, Arizona, and FSU for MA.
Congrats Beatrice!
And birchleaf - I am doing classical archaeology too!
So far I have only been rejected from AHMA, but as I have heard nothing from Stanford I imagine that is coming too. As of now I am not feeling too confident about getting into a PhD program this round, but I'm also right out of undergrad so I've applied to some MAs too!
Also super jealous that you have dug at a viking site! I've been in Sweden a number of time this last year because my boyfriend lives there and I keep tearing him I'll switch from Etruscan archaeology to Viking
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
HI! I just found this forum a couple days ago and I totally wish I had earlier. More importantly my one food would be Ben & Jerry's half baked ice cream...but probably only because it has been my stress food these last couple weeks waiting.
