It was, confirmed after a brief email exchange. That's a terrible mistake to make, especially if some people who received that email are on the wait list without any acceptances. Not the nicest thing to do to wait listed students...

 

 

Sounds like we're in the same boat. Care for a paddle? :/ My only hope is that the CUNY waitlist moves, shakes, rocks, and rolls. Wonder how many students were admitted for CUNY this year and what their ideal cohort yield is.

Did anyone on the CUNY wait list happen to get an email about the visit day that congratulated them on their acceptance...?

 

Yup, got that email too. Think it was a generic invitation to both admitted students and waitlistees. 

 

But oh, how my heart hurt.

Anyone staking claim for the Temple acceptance on the results page? Love their program and would really like to know if I should stop clinging to hope (there's a Journey's song to find in all of this).

Major congrats to all those admitted so far! Anyone have any updates on Temple University? It's been radio silence so far, and I don't see anything current on the results board :/ I've been in an anxiety riddled purgatory during this whole process! Argh.

I was enrolled in a class at cuny in Falll and live in NYC so stopped by the dept office yesterday and was told that the ad comm has met and that decisions for 1st round of admits (at least) should be going out this week or next. I wasn't among those admits received so far (!), but haven't heard any other decision yet either.

 

So many thanks for this! There may be a glimmer of hope yet. Good luck to us all

Hi All! Historical lurker, contemporary poster!

 

Was wondering if all of the CUNY admits have been sent out? In the past the admits have gone out in waves, but this year CUNY seems to have sent out the admittances a bit earlier than before. Seems like it's all up in the air. 

 

Any clarification would be much appreciated by me and the rest of my sanity
