Urgh this is so frustrating. There is no clear answer on what to do

Hey everyone, I need advice... So, I applied to William and Mary in January (they accepted my application late, long story). A few days later I got an email from the registrar's office confirming my current address and I told her that our lease is up on 8/7 and she said to "feel free to update them on our next address." As has been discussed by other commentators, W&M started notifying people already, I have not heard anything and I am getting nervous. I have possibly two, definitely one, recommender that could send a letter on my behalf. Do I call my POI asking if they still want letters/am I rejected? Do I have them send letters without asking?

My top choice started sending notifications out on Monday with several acceptances and one wait list, no rejections yet. I'm fully convinced that mean that I'll get the reject letter on Monday.

We are in the same mindset. At this point it's like bring on the bad news so we can just move on and deal with getting an actual answer.

This silence is driving me up the wall! I'm driving myself,and anyone who is willing to listen to paranoia rants, crazy. Boderlining pure pessimism but trying to still hope while checking my email just incase the phone notifications aren't working.

On a slightly more serious note lol, I have been trolling are the forum and the results page and have finslly decided to climb out from under the stressfuk rock of waiting. I specialize in South African history, with a research focus on imperialism from the Afrikaner settlements to the second Boer War. To all of you who have been accepted already, congratulations! To those of us still waiting, we got this, we just have to wait for our perfect fit places, even though that is better saud than done. Haha
