  1. Okay, to be frankly, as an international student, before I started my application for a master's program in BIOSTATS, I had only heard of a small number(no more than 10) of the very topnotch schools like HARVARD/YALE/JHU/MIT and so on blabla... So instead of visiting the campus or asking some Americans in the BIOSTATS industry about the recognition of the schools, I had to searche on Wiki and any other resources available about the Grad schools and their programs in United States, and then applied for the TOP 20 schools as many as I could. I recently got the adimission letter from Emory. Now I'm wondering how many people have heard about this school, and how's the reputation of its BIOSTATS program? And If you were asked to rate it with the following comments, which one would you choose ? LOL (I have to hear from a native American about this school, since $40K-50K/year is not a small sum) A. Topnotch school (Like the top 10 Universities: HARVARD/STANFORD/YALE/blabla...admired by everyone and whose graduates find their jobs by just letting the interviewer know the names of their schools) B. Very Good School (highly recognized in industry and admired by most people) C. Common or relatively good School (recognized in industry and know by some people) D. Just some school heard by a few people. E. Emory? Embry-Riddle ? Never heard of it... Thanks, soooo much!
