Hi everyone, I just joined this thread because today I was accepeted to Pitt's MSW- Advanced standing program. I want to hear what people have to say about the school and things as such. I also applied to Columbia, NYU, and Millersville. And I am still waiting to hear back from the rest of the schools. I also had one problem. I could not find the link to the FAAS form for financial aid. I beleieve this has to be submitted before we recieve our financial aid package.

I NEED to know now, NOT next week lol

also @jharper- when did u apply to Nyu and when did you hear back ? And was it for advanced standing ?

^^agreed. ANY DAY NOW has been the story of my life. I just need to hear back from at least one! give me something to soothe the pain lol

That fact that emails have been sent out has sent me into a crazy state of checking/refreshing emails whie in class. But @jharper- I applied advanced standing and hope that it doesnt take till march

@hiclub2 - no i will be graduating with a BSW from McDaniel College in May. Its a liberal arts college in MD

I had a friend get accepted to UMD at 3am.

This wait was the reason my bar tab was so high last night smh. TODAY MUST BE THE DAY!

I am at my field placement still checking my emails like a maniac smh but I have a good feeling we will hear starting friday. The wait was so long!!! But surprisingly responding to this forum has helped ease to pain. Thanks guys!

Has anyone spoken to the admissions office yet? All of my friends are getting acceptance letters from schools they applied to like a month prior (UMD, Ship, UCF,). I might punch someone if I see another acceptance letter lol. But seriously this wait is killing me slowly

I applied to Columbia's advanced standing program on November 30th and I am the most nerve wrecked person in my undergrad program. I think my field placement will play a big part in the process but I am not sure at all! If anyone can share some credentials from there BSW program it would be helpful. I also applied to NYU, PITT, and Millersville (all advanced standing/havent heard anything back yet). Good luck to everyone!!!!
