@I/O Hopeful 2016 If you haven't heard anything by now from a school you are mostly likely rejected or far down on the waitlist. I know that UMSL already had their visit day a week or two ago where they invited students with offers and those on the waitlist. If you didn't get invited to that I would assume that you are rejected. Wouldn't hurt to e-mail at this point as it's nearly April. For what it's worth, IUPUI is an excellent program and from what I understand their funding package is generous for a master's program. From someone who went through this last year, good luck to everyone. It will work out in the end, I assure you.

You wouldn't go to a school because of their football team? What does that have to do with their I/O program?

I'm on a grand total of 6 wait lists (8 if you count masters programs) with only 1 masters acceptance at this point. April 15th can't come soon enough.

I'm assuming that not having heard at this point is basically a rejection.

Can anyone give me any information on Columbia's masters program? I applied for their PhD and was rejected, but they gave me a master's program offer with a decent scholarship. I'm mostly interested in job placement after graduation as well as internship opportunities. It seems like NYC would be ideal for that, but they also seem to accept a lot of people into their program.

Just saw the someone was recently offered at WUSTL off the wait list. Curious if they are going to accept that offer or not...

How likely is it to get an offer off the wait list? How often does this happen? I looked through some past threads but only found minimal information. I'm trying to keep my expectations realistic.

Has anyone else from Wright State heard anything post-interview? I saw something on the results page about someone being invited to a visit day at the end of this month, but they had been accepted. Was anyone else invited to that?
