I heard different things from various people: that it can happen in the interview, or that they will respond a week-to two weeks after the interview. Before April 1st though.
Is anyone interviewing at Columbia on March 12th?
I have some information for all of you who applied to U Washington in Seattle. I have a friend who was accepted last year to the Painting+Drawing department. They did not conduct an interview...and the notification came at the end of March, well past the notifications of other schools. So if you have not heard anything yet, do NOT take it as a sign that you were denied admission. Hope this helps some of those people waiting.
Did you receive the email from admissions yet about the Painting interview at Columbia? I got a phone call telling me I will be notified, but havent recieved the official email yet to set the date and time....?
I asked the admissions coordinator, and she said they we did not need to bring work to the interview. I have an inperson interview as well on Wednesday afternoon
I was notified by phone today that I will be receiving an official invite from admissions in the next couple of days to interview at Columbia on March 12/13th...for all of those waiting to hear back. I am interviewing for a spot in the Painting department...so not sure if other disciplines are on the same notification schedule.
Has anyone been invited to interview at Columbia and RISD for the visual art/painting programs? Does anyone know when we should expect to hear by? I have an interview at Yale end of February, and just wondering how soon I will know if I have to plan another trip to the east coast. THANKS everyone. And congrats to all those who have been accepted/interviewing!
I have finally caved and decided to ask this question on here. Has anyone heard from RISD or Columbia MFA Visual Arts/Painting programs for interviews? Either way, I'd really rather just KNOW! Thanks
