PorqueMoi- If you don't mind my asking, what are your stats? I applied to LSU's Health Sciences school as well (the one in Nola), and I'm curious about others who've applied- I'm unsure what the "norms" are for usually accepted stats.

I'm applying to Columbia, Emerson, South Alabama, the University of Alabama as well! How about you?

It's nice that they have a range of GPAs and GRE scores- that makes me think that they look at everyone individually, and not as numbers! I really appreciate the I input; I'm pretty unfamiliar with the program! I have, however, heard similar things to what you're saying- that it is a good program, and that everyone genuinely likes it. I should warn you, though- I have heard that they only accept 10% of their incoming students from out of state. I heard this in the context of their loyalty to in-state students (although it may not be true). Good luck! I hope we are both accepted! I think we should be hearing relatively soon!

That is good to know (especially since many schools require you to respond within a couple of weeks about your decision). What did you think about their open house? I did not go, but I wish I had!

You know, you bring up a great point! I read about that I'm Nola.com- does anyone know if that will affect the School of Allied Health Professions? I know it will affect LSU Baton Rouge...

Hi all, I'm an out of state applicant hoping to attend this program- however, I have heard they accept very few out of state students. Does anyone know what the chances are for someone like me? I'm really clueless about whether I could have a chance or not.
