Hey shinigamiasuka, The Munger apartments do seem like they could be a good option. For other readers, the Munger Apartments are a graduate residence still under construction. When I took a peek at the construction site, they felt more like they are in Ann Arbor downtown than on campus. Though, they are really only a block off from the Michigan Union.
