Some traditional MSW programs (e.g. Hunter) don't require you to submit GRE scores at all. If your stats are good, consider applying for Fall 2016 during the next application cycle.
Thank you guys!!
For the interview, make sure you're able answer the following questions: Why Social Work? Why Hunter? Be ready to speak about volunteer/professional clinical experiences you've had. There's also a short writing response. You should do fine if you're relaxed and speak honestly.
My admission decision was updated this morning and I was accepted!
Check for something like this at the bottom of the application dashboard:
DECISION STATUS: AVAILABLE BEGINNING 3/5/2015
Your application decision is now available online
Mine never changed from "submitted" to "pending interview," despite being offered and attending an interview. I'm not sure the status is up to date.
The interviewer said the status will be changed no less than ~1 week after the interview date, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Received a interview offer for the 2-year MSW program earlier today, so I guess they've started reviewing applications. Interviews are group format, taking place late February into early March. Good luck everyone!
