A school I have applied to has asked me to visit early next month and I was wondering what that is supposed to mean. The professor I have hoped to work with has told me that I am his first choice of all the applicants as well. It feels like a relationship; I've been burned in the past and I don't want to get hurt.... I was just wondering what other's experiences have been with being invited to meet faculty and other students because it sounds like good news, but I don't want to get my hopes too high before anything official.
