I am seeking information on their PhD program in Art History!

Is anyone here familiar with the University College London's PhD program? Would you recommend it? Thank you in advance

Would those in the know be willing to share their thoughts regarding the top programs for a student with a Ren/Bar focus? Also, on an unrelated side note, does anyone know anything about Bard's PhD program in decorative arts, design history, & material culture? I am kind of intrigued-- does it have a good reputation? Thank you in advance!

PS: Whoa! Just took a look at the "results search" for Columbia. Why are there so many rejections this year?? Seems as if they accepted a much higher percentage of their applicants last year (if the anonymous reports on gradcafe are anything to judge by). Wonder what gives?

Has anyone else simply not heard back from Columbia? I have not received any sort of email, and no decision is displayed when I log into my account. Clerical error? Unofficial waitlist? Okay to contact the program administrator for an update??
