Hey guys, I am an international student and have received admits from both schools. The US rankings put USC above UCSB, and USC has got a large alumni network, which may be a great advantage when looking for an intern or job. However, the large amount of admits of USC makes me doubt about its quality. On the other hand, UCSB has a small MS group, and the beach and sunshine are pretty inviting. UCSB's cost of attendance is lower, and it seems possible serving as a grader, Ta, or Ra. Personally, I hope the school's atmosphere is vibrant(study hard, play hard), students and teachers are happy, and people get along well. I hope I can have a good life there and actually learn something, so the quality of classes is very important too. The job prospects are my third concern, and the cost is the fourth. Any suggestions?
