Hello,
I applied to CSULA and was accepted. The deadline they gave me to accept/decline is on 4/6 and I'm going to turn it down. My concentration in aging population. I hope this helps those on the wait list.
Good Luck!

I've been accepted to both programs and not sure which program to accept. I have until 4/1 to decide. I need help.
Besides cost difference any other info would be greatly appreciated.

@saidypooMSW my friend had the same problem. They decided to waive the gre since she had a 3.4. The gre is only mandatory if your gpa is below 3.0. You should ask to speak to an admitting representative to try and fix the problem.

@MissUmmra,
I have not joined the Facebook group. I don't use facebook. I guess I could create one just for this reason. Have you joined yet?

Hello lovinMSW! Congratulations on getting in both! Thank you very much for your help. Yes I'm sticking to UCLA as well. That was my first choice so I'm going with my first instinct. Plus it is a very good point about the difficulty level of getting in as well as the great difference in tuition cost. Did you join the Facebook UCLA MSW 2017 group? The best of luck to you.
Hello Saidypoo, thank you for responding to my question. I've figured it out

Hello MissUmmra,
I think both schools offer great programs. The diversity is there in both schools. I think you should write down pros and cons for each program and go with what interest you the most.UCLA may not seem diverse but it is. Also consider how difficult it is to get into UCLA MSW program versus USC. I got into both programs and I'm sticking with UCLA.the network is there and it cost is less. Good luck with your decision!

Hello. Can someone please help me decide what school I should choose for my MSW program. I was for sure I wanted UCLA because I fell In love with the program, however USC may be a more diverse school and a better location. Can you please give ideas why one school may be better than the other? Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes, Facebook would be great.

That's great. I also accepted. It would be nice to start a group to meet UCLA Fall 2015 cohort.

yes i accepted. I applied to 3 different schools, but UCLA was always my number one so there is no point in waiting. you have until april 14th to accept/decline. my second option was long beach (i have not heard back yet) but like i said I'm set on UCLA. the price difference is honestly not a huge different (i know CSULA is around 32,000), and with UCLA health insurance is included in the price which is a bonus for those who do not have it.

Hello MSW Aapplicants,
I'm new to posting on this thread but have been following for some time. I also got accepted into UCLA on 2/24 via email. I applied on 1/15.
Best of luck to everyone.
Has anyone accepted UCLA yet?

@alex bo balex, I also had the same problem with USC. it has delayed my application process. The place is unorganized (admissions), as past people have mentioned. I did finally get someone to pull out my file and look through every item I turned in and they discovered the missing transcripts had been misplaced.the msw department has been extremely helpful with helping me out with this issue and processing my application for review.
Don't become discouraged by this experience, USC is a great school and has a good program. I would stry to speak to a supervisor in the admissions office that's what I did and they found my transcripts.
Good luck!
