Congrats Optimus35, those are both really good choices! What do you plan to study? Circuits, ML,...? I think Purdue is regarded as a better engineering school, but ucsd is also really great!

@MakarovAl... I have an Electrical Engineering background, but I am applying to the IC track.... I have friends in the program that were Stats majors at Berkeley... so it is definitely possible...

No... I applied to MS in ECE (with preference for SV) and have heard nothing... I emailed the admissions officer and have heard nothing back....

I saw two (from UCB undergrad) and they both seemed from the same person from the way it was phrased. I could not seem to see more than that... I don't know how the UCB undergrad got in without GRE... for me it sounds like troll just like the rejects...

it seems IEOR is sending rejects already... there is also some rejects for EECS in the timeline, not sure if people are trolling or if it is true... Anyway, keep us posted.

Also, anyone that applied please post something on this page so we know who is applying and decisions...

Shirley, who is the M.Eng. admissions coordinate said that "Decisions will be sent soon, and before March 15th." Fingers crossed....

No... I emailed them but the EECS department never answered, just the Fung Insitute and they said that decisions would be sent out by email within the next weeks... But that is far from a estimated date. Keep us posted if you hear anything.

I am not sure.... Hope to get a reply by the end of the week....

I saw in another post here at gradcafe that two people got interviews. I contacted the office and they told me that the interviews are not a second step to the process and they will only contact you to one if they really need to. That said, my friends got in without one and I know people who got interviews but were not offered a spot.
