it's an IR world

Nothing over here.

I polished off a bag of cheddar and sour cream chips last night in anticipation. I don't even like that flavor.

I'm PST so I'm assuming it'll be a mid-morning/afternoon e-mail for me. Work is going to be hard to sit through tomorrow, regardless of the decision. This forum has been such a reprieve.

I'm curious what time-ish they send the decisions out. I've been receiving decisions at all hours (2am, 11am, 230pm etc).

I got in -- super shocked. Tuition fees concern me less than cost of living in NY. Maybe I'll live in New Jersey. In any case, CONGRATS TO ALL!

First off, congrats on both admissions! I went to UCSB for undergrad, really loved it. Beautiful campus, awesome faculty, amazing CS program (and it boasts the most Nobel Prize winner of all the UCs). In terms of diversity, I'd give it to UCSB. It might not be an important factor for everyone, but I appreciate a mix of folks. The USC program I applied to (and got rejected from) during this admissions cycle was 85% white. Anyway, you're golden either way. Just had to put in a good word for the Gauchos! Good luck!
