I completely understand getting behind in the process. However, we deserve to receive an update on the admissions process if they will not be able to get us decisions by the stated deadline. Just a generic email would be nice!
I haven't heard back yet. I was told it has nothing to do with the merit of the application, but it's still a bit worrying. This is when people are making decisions, so if I don't even know if I got in yet, how am I supposed to make a decision between programs? It makes me feel like I am not valued enough to receive an acceptance decision at an appropriate time, or at least by the stated deadline...
I applied to the AM in social work on January 15. The website says that applicants should hear back by March 15. I haven't heard back yet, and I was wondering if anyone (who applied for the January 15 deadline) has received an admissions decision by email/seen a change in their application status on the online portal. Thanks!
