I officially got off the waitlist for Laurier today also! So for those still waiting, there is movement!

I am wondering if anyone has any idea of the chance of moving off the waitlist for the 2 year at Laurier.

Hey magfish, I was waitlisted and the admissions page still shows references. Someone posted yesterday (I believe) that it only changes once you get accepted.

No, I have not thought about that until I started reading about it on this forum. I did not realize there was such a program. The only issue is that I do not want to move away for school which limits where I can apply.

Just going to work on making my application better for next year. I think around 40 people get put on the waitlist so if it even moves, it will still be really competitive.

Thanks AMetallo! Not looking forward to more waiting but am happy with being put on the waitlist. It seems like there are very competitive applicants this year.

Hey kjamieso4, Mine has not changed either but I think I read in earlier posts (when advanced standings were hearing back) that some may have changed before they received an email. I would also assume that it would not change before email notification and hoping that it only changes when you hear through email. Small glimmer of hope still, lol

Anyone who has not heard back from Laurier yet, has your LORIS changed where the references are?

Even though you are not accepting Laurier, congratulations!! I have not received an email but I am really not expecting one. I did not realize when I applied how tough the competition was for the program until I came across this forum.

Just under a week and maybe we will finally start hearing from Laurier!! Getting anxious now!!

There is no application status on LORIS. It is only for checking to see if all your reference letters have been received and for changing your contact information.

There are two LORIS sites. One for students and one for applicants that allows you to look at your references and change your information online. Maybe you are trying to log into the wrong site. The following is the one we are supposed to use: https://telaris.wlu.ca/ssb_prod/bwskalog.P_DispLoginNon When I received my confirmation email from Laurier stating that they received my application, it stated that decisions would be emailed. Hope that helps.

I have been having issues since around then too. I was wondering if anyone had contacted Laurier to find out why. What if someone actually had to change their contact information? Thankfully I do not. I am just getting very anxious now as we still have a couple of weeks before we hear anything. The more I read posts, the more I begin to doubt my credentials. I am getting to the point that I just want to know either way so I can plan ahead.

Does anyone know why on LORIS when you click the online form that the page is not found?
