I would definitely suggest emailing or even calling schools to find out why you weren't accepted if you had a very strong application. I heard that some people got accepted on the spot when they called to inquire about rejections/wait-list positions because things had been missed or overlooked initially. It's your future, nobody is going to fight for you except yourself!

Haven't received my official acceptance letter from Alberta yet. Has anyone else received it?

I also received an email from UofA today and will be accepting. I was put on their wait list last year so I am extremely relieved. Best of luck to those of you still waiting, don't give up!
