Alums or current students...how would you describe your experience with the more quant heavy courses? Has it been enjoyable...or more of a pain in the...?
Would you recommend a specific professor?
Any insight from the community would be invaluable.

Current experience in public sector
International student wanting to transition to career in US--already with legal basis to make such transition
Career goals: a fulfilling career with decent work life balance (family very important down the line)
MBA may open more doors??? Or will it from a fledgling program
Decent funding from both programs...MBA may work out to be cheaper
Please weigh in!

@Sjn092 I think most AU hopefuls are lurkers like I've been for the last year or so...hahahaha

@goebelb I take it you're lucky enough to be choosing between offers. That's awesome. DC was always going to be too expensive even with decent funding. But I through out an application just in case. For me, even moderate funding would be tantamount to 0 in a city like DC.
Thanks for responding. I feel better placed to start preparing decisions.

Has anyone heard back regarding funding yet?
Acceptance letter said we'd start hearing back mid March. Curious to know if the silence means no funding.

Did you enjoy your quant courses? anybody?
I'd really hate mechanical undergrad style quant drilling...
Think grad students are beyond that.
thoughts anyone?
