FSO too! I think the Boren would be the perfect compliment to my degree and it would give me a leg up for the post-graduate fellowships in order to avoid the dreaded FSO TEST. EHHHRMAAGERRD I see signs everyday. I think sometimes I make them up. :,(

I didnt submit another program. I just let them know that I identified one but I still havent finalized the budget. They seemed cool with this and said that it wont affect decision for awards.

April fools haha the waiting game continues! But I did receive an email saying that those who applied to Russia (and other countries who were cancelled I assume) should begin to update their alternate program in the same language but another country. I know that Egypt was cancelled or you, did you receive this email?

Boren emailed me and said notifications are coming out this week.

It seems that they are playing with our emotions. haha well I hope the budget email still bodes well for us who got it. At least April is right around the corner.

I am a lurker everyone, I am sorry it took so long for me to admit it. I am a scholarship applicant. I got the budget update email and the notification that there will not be any programs to my country due to security concerns. I was wondering, are the Budget emails for scholarship applicants still a strong indicator as to whether one will receive the scholarship or no? I was reading over previous year forums and it seems that the budget email may not hold the same importance that it used to. Good luck to everyone!
