I got an offer of admission from U of T Health Promotion by email on April 24th!! I declined my offer though because I've decided to accept at another school. Hopefully you will both hear back soon with good news!

Thank you!!! @hn90 and @out.to.sea I decided to accept my Health Promotion offer at U of A!! The program sounds like a better fit for me than UBC and I've heard so many great things about it! I decided it was too good an offer to pass up. I am really looking forward to meeting all the other U of A students in the fall! @hn90 I'm wondering if you know much about finding off-campus housing close to campus since you mentioned that you did your undergrad at U of A. One of my major concerns is commuting in the cold so I'm hoping to find something really close by! Congrats to everyone who received offers and good luck to those deciding between schools and those still waiting for letters!

hn90 I also got an offer for recommendation for U of A Health Promotion today!!!! Congrats! I am very, very excited but now I have a difficult decision to make!.... I also got an offer from UBC and I don't know what to do! I like the sound of Alberta's program better and my inspiration for applying to public health programs in the first place was from talking to a U of A MPH alum who loved the program at U of A. On the other hand, UBC also has a good program although it doesn't have the Health Promotion specialization. BUT it offers familiarity of the city and campus and the benefit of having family and friends close by (I am a Vancouverite and did my undergrad at UBC).

Hi everybody, I am wondering what people have heard about the MPH program at UBC vs. U of Alberta... Which would you choose and why? And what is your opinion based on? Thanks so much!
