Mphfall015, your stats look good, given that ypu npt only have voluntary wrk experience but also a published work. alot of emphasis is placed on letter on interest which ypu submit to universities. Give emphasis to it and in case English is not your first language, get help from native english speaker. Also, if you have done your undergrad from outside canada, how good are your toefl/ielts results. Your CV should also be well presented to make an impact. Did your hear anything from Guelph and UofT yet?

Hey NAMPH-er, The deadline was 27th of April. I waited till the last day lol! This was their first round of acceptances from Guelph so I am guessing the second round will be going out soon.

I accepted my U Guelph MPH offer of admission yesterday!! Any one who did the same? Waitlisted for MacU. But I'll go with Guelph program. You think I made a good decision?

Thanks for this info Grad1515. Got an email from MCMaster program coordinator saying my application is still in review process. I am literally hanging in air as Guelph deadline to accept the offer is fast aapproaching. Anyone has any idea on program structure at Mcmaster? What courses they are offering and etc?

Thanks for your input grad1515! Being the first graduating class can be risky in many sense like not being able to secure good placements, unorganized courses etc. But again MacU is a prestigious institution and the name goes a long way. I do really like the streams of infectious diseases and zoonosis which UGuelph specialize into. But im not sure if its worth choosing it over MacU just because it has a more established program. fingers crossed for McMasterr's decision. Till then I'll appreciate more inputs for MacU vs other MPH programs!

So if i really have to make a choice between MacU and Guelph MPH program, which one you guys will vote for?

Hey! Anyone on this thread applied to McMaster MPH program? it's their first intake. I already got accepted at Guelph for MPH and now awaiting McMaster's decision. anyone in the same boat trying to rule out McU against other institution?
