hello there! i'm currently taking a certificate program and i had to retake some courses as well in order to finish the certificate i believe your transcripts will show that anyway. i advise you to put the certificate under the academic experience in your resume. explain why you took this certificate in your letter of intent plus how it's related to MPH. good luck.

As you said Queen's program is more established and i believe someone wrote a review about MPH program in one of the older threads i heard mostly positive feedback about Queen's program. in the other hand, McMaster is new but that doesn't mean it will be bad experience personally if i ever got an acceptance from Queens, i will take it in a heart beat lol you're so lucky! the only reason i won't apply to Queens because one of their requirements is GRE test for international students like me I live in Guelph but i commute to Kingston every other week for my classes in St.Lawrence college. ​in my personal opinion Kingston is better than Hamilton, prices and rent are often reasonable in Kingston too.

i have been waitlisted as well, i was sure that i will be rejected so i'm happy to know that at lease i'm waitlisted don't be upset! look at the positive side, they consider you as a qualified candidate don't ever give up, you don't know what will happen i sent a polite email with some questions, they basically responded with an advice to wait patiently they will contact you if they need any further information from you, so the only option we have is to wait and see

so it's safe to say that anyone who didn't hear from them, they are probably rejected oh well, i will apply for the next year and see how it will goes Congrats for the ones who got accepted and for those who didn't, please don't give up

i live in Guelph and i always hear positive feedback about the program.the university has a nice laid back atmosphere and Guelph is absolutely beautiful,i think you made a great decision.i will apply for the program by next fall. if you need any help about Guelph, feel free to contact me.

initially,i was going to apply for fall 2016 but decided to apply to mcmaster since the deadline of applications was late compare to other programs i'm still working in improving my application and resume but i thought i will try my chances with mcmaster since the program is fairly new so right now i only applied to mcmaster and i would be happy if i got any chance to be accepted there if not i will apply to more schools by next fall have you accept your offer there ?

thank you Grad1515 for your response i haven't received any email indicates that i was recommended so i'm losing my hope here do you have any idea if the second round are the ones who already received recommendation emails ? or are they going to send more recommendation emails?

any news from McMaster ?
