Thanks for the response Direstraits. On another note, last yr I was requested to send in my transcript however I DID NOT receive an award. Also, last yr I was in the midst of finishing course work so who knows whether or not a request for a transcript is to verify completion of grades or in fact a weeding out process. But in fact people I know who applied with me who also did not have complete course work who did not receive a request to submit a transcript subsequently were not granted funding from SSRC. Who knows. I'm hoping that a request for transcripts (or not for that matter) does not mean you are out of the game at this point...

Hi, Can anyone clarify for me: I am currently in the field; applied for funding for this project in the same country; but I do not have funding for the current field project, will my current application still process? Of course some how I overlooked the qualification on the SSRC website relating to this matter. I am a bit unclear as to whether or not my application still qualifies. The site says that if you are in the field and have funding you do not qualify if you wish to procure funds for another 9 months in the same country. Seeing as how my current leg of the project does not have funding but I have applied for money for a second leg of this project in the same country, does my application still qualfiy? I haven't heard anything yet from SSRC. Thanks
