Has anybody heard from PhD decisions from EE at Caltech? Has anybody been interviewed by them?

Stanford EE is notorious for its qualifying exam. And, without passing qualifying exam, it's almost impossible to find a PhD supervisor. Moreover, a large portion of the professors are busy running their own companies, which means they may not be involved in supervising their students. Berkeley is different, once you're admitted, they'll try their best to guarantee funding for you throughout your PhD years. They have the top academic advisors like David Tse, Chenming Hu. Without terrifying qualifying exams, and with professors involved in your research, I believe it is the right way to explore students' potentials.

Based on the posts in previous years, Princeton should have already sent out its admission decisions. Has anybody heard back from them? When can we know the results? Besides, anyone has news from Caltech?

I've also applied for Area 1 but haven't heard from them. Graduate coordinator said all decisions (inc. rejection, waitlist) would be available via website next Wednesday. But I'm afraid that all acceptance letters may have already been sent out...

I have applied for Area 1 (communications, networks, control) but haven't heard anything from them. Has anybody heard anything from Area 1?

It seems that a couple of applicants have received the admit letter from EE MIT and many more are very concerned about when the results will be out. Let's discuss and report results here!
