Current grad student w/ LSVT LOUD certification. It's impossible (and expensive!) to get all the certifications out there... My advice would be to get any certification(s) which will be immediately helpful to you or which you can use to expand your clinical skills as a grad student. For example, one of the professors at my school is very well known for her work with Parkinson's patients and I was able to train under her after I got my LSVT certification, which I found very valuable. I also found that it was good to get this certification as a student since it is cheaper. However, you have to renew it every few years, so if you're not going to use it immediately it may not be worth it. Talk to professors and clinical supervisors in your department about certifications and see if they recommend any as a leg-up for the specific job you want. When you have your medical placement, your supervisor there will also be a good person to ask. Just my two cents, hope it helps a little!
