Hi, I am researching low residency MFA programs and was wondering if anyone had any feedback or opinions, either personal or through the grapevine, of these programs: School of Visual Arts University of the Arts. I can't get a read on this program or school in general--what is its reputation? US News gives it decent ranking FWIW but it seems somewhat obscure otherwise. Pacific Northwest College of Art SAIC Some context: I looked at the other available low residency programs but eliminated them as options for various reasons, and have gleaned what I can from other posts about this topic. I'm 37 and engaged in a parallel non-art career so the low residency programs seem more workable. My work is digitally-driven but largely sculptural rather than what's typically defined as new media. Any guidance are thoughts are much appreciated. Thanks!!
