Hello! I'm a recent graduate with a science degree and with only some graphic design experience. I planned take a gap year to decide what I wanted to do career wise but I knew that I had lost interest in the pure science field and health care. I do love to draw and I took a small web designer job for a professor and found out I enjoyed designing as well. It was recently that I found out about UX and Interactive design and just enrolled in a AS in graphic and interactive design at a community college. However, I want to apply to HCI masters program but feel daunted and worry if I'll even get accepted because of my background. I do hope take short online courses to develop a portfolio, take the GRE, and find internships in any design field to gain experience but the question is...is applying to this masters program in 6 months too ambitious to try?
