  1. OK, I think I've got it. I have a 1.41 in base 4. I have use a GPA Calculator (Spain), 300 credits. I think I studied a Bachelor's, but not sure because in my qualifications I can read Master' Thesis, since I had to develop a Final Project. According to the calculator I have a GPA of 2. Cumulative GPA: 2.00 So the questions now are: - How o who (organization) can tell me if my spanish studies are a BS or a MS in US? - Most of universities require a grade-point average of at least 3.0. If you don't reach this, can you be selected? I mean, do I try to apply or not... - The same question with TOEFL, if you don't reach the point required, can you be selected?

  3. Hello! I really apreciate your reply I studied computer science in Madrid, I finished it. But i dont know if it is going to be considered as a bachelor or a MS. At this point, I suppose that the university where I would study decide it. I have been reading about certificates at universities. This can be more interesting for me since they can be more related to my profile. Any website where I can find this info? Thanks again
  4. Hello!! I'm Spanish, located in madrid I'm begining to take a look to MS in US. I would like you to give me advise. I have been working with Oracle databases for more than 8 years, and I would like to study a MS o postraduate program related to databases or Bigdata ( I studied Computing in the University in Spain, 4 years). I would like to be in the East Coast, but I dont know if this is a good idea, since most of the IT companies are in the West coast. I only see hundreds of universities and programs and I'm totally lost. The last thing, the target is to start working ASAP with an OPT visa, so I would like to study something during a year and after that trying to find a job. I really apreciate all your comments. Thanks in advance.
