Hello everyone! I hope that you will be able to guide me in a very important career decision. I am a student from Pakistan. Recognizing a desperate need and an interest I wanted to pursue a majors in counseling psychology. However due to lack of choices and financial constraints I enrolled in a BS Accounts and Finance programs in one of the top universities here. I have done up to 15 credits in Psychology and 6 Credits in Statics. I am in my final year of Bachelors now with a decent GPA and I am aiming to do a Masters in Counseling. However I am not sure of the route to take. Some people I have talked to suggest that I should do a MS in General psychology first and then narrow it down to counseling. My ultimate aim is to end up in UN and work for with the trauma therapy experts. Keeping in mind that US universities cost ALOT, are there any programs which you think would be suitable for a novice like me?
