It looks like MIT did not mail until around 5pm. Don't know the overnight deadline to FedEx to CA, but I wouldn't stress until after tomorrow.

In at MIT, wait list for funding. Received a letter (FedEx) today. Letter was mailed yesterday, so it might take another day to arrive depending on where you live (I live in Boston). 360 applicants, 7% accepted.

I received an email from a prof in my subfield yesterday. This afternoon I received a form email saying a decision had been posted on the Yale application site, which then led to an official acceptance letter.

I can claim one of the Yale acceptances. Email from a prof in my subfield. Arrived a few hours after the first one that was claimed on the results page, so they were definitely not sent at the same time.

Thanks for the update on Yale (and how to check status). Does anyone know when MIT sends decisions?
