Trying to decide between Duke's Department of Statistical Science and the University of Washington's Applied Mathematics Program??? They both seem great. I tentatively want to focus on Bayesian Statistics. A named fellowship at UW with zero teaching and at Duke do not need to TA until second year. Very similar good offers. How to decide??? Please help with any advice. I am a Californian currently an Applied and Computational Mathematics undergrad at Caltech.
