Hi all- new to the forum, cause I decided to apply very last minute and so of course I'm freaking out! Does anyone have thoughts on including work from their BFA thesis in their portfolio (year 2013)? Is it frowned upon? I have enough work without it, but I think it's a little more developed than some of the other work I have. Thanks everyone!
Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any programs near LA that might have higher acceptance rates than say UCLA. My decision to apply is very recent so I'm crazy and need to get the ball rolling, fast. I'm mostly interested in state schools or programs with funding, but any information would be helpful. Additionally, is USC even worth applying to right now?
Thank you!
I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BFA in painting, and I loved it. The school itself is in a beautiful area and there is some great faculty. I'd say there is a healthy mix of talent so you'll have the opportunity to be around some very talented people, while still being able to shine. And hey, state tuition's the best.
